摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for dynamically allocating a time division band in point-to-point communication are provided to efficiently allocates a bandwidth based on the data transmission amount between points to improve data transmission efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a transmitter(10) and a receiver(20) and splits data to be transmitted into packets to transmit the packets through the allocated band. The transmitter has a transmission memory(2) for storing data externally received in packets, a control signal generator(3) for generating a transmission request control packet(t2), and a multiplexer(6) connected to the memory and control signal generator to selectively send a data packet(t1) or the control packet. The receiver includes a reception signal detector(12) for receiving the data packet or control packet and a reception memory(14) for storing the data packet. The reception signal detector generates a synchronous signal(t3) instructing data transmission to the control signal generator and the multiplexer of the transmitter to send the data packet or control packet through the multiplexer when the control packet is received. The multiplexer sends the data packet first when the data packet is stored in the transmission memory, and transmits the control packet when there is no data packet in the memory.
