<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of estimating a ground structure down to a deep depth range by employing information of an observation dispersion characteristic obtained from a tremor probing method to a depth range of a ground database. SOLUTION: This ground structure estimating method is constituted by a first step of calculating an observation dispersion characteristic from a tremor observation by a Rayleigh wave at a survey objective point, a second step of calculating S-wave velocities per each depth of the ground from a ground database near the survey objective point and producing an S-wave velocity structure for calculating a theoretical dispersion characteristic, a third step of converting the S-wave velocities until the theoretical dispersion characteristic of the S-wave velocity structure calculated at the second step approximates a phase velocity of the observation dispersion characteristic and producing a reference model for calculating a reference dispersion characteristic, and a fourth step of estimating a ground structure of the survey objective point on the basis of an S-wave velocity structure of the reference model determined at the third step.</p> |
