PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a general-purpose processing sheet which is used in a space- saving device or an easily maintainable system in which prints are finished while a customer stays in a store and ensures the improved film strength and shelf stability of a silver halide photosensitive material and to provide an image forming method using the processing sheet. SOLUTION: The processing sheet contains a compound of formula 1 or 2, e.g. a compound of formula (3) or (4).
