FLOW DISTRIBUTION APPARATUS FOR EVAPORATOR OF HEAT PUMP

PURPOSE: A flow distribution apparatus is provided to achieve an improved reliability of operation by effectively adjusting the volume of refrigerant for the distributor through the use of refrigerant pressure. CONSTITUTION: A bypass pipe(3) for bypass of the high temperature high pressure refrigerant discharged from the outlet side of a compressor(1), has an end connected between the compressor and an indoor heat exchanger(2). The bypass pipe has a pressure reduction device(4) consisting of a capillary tube for reduce the high pressure of the refrigerant into medium level. The bypass pipe has the other end connected to an outdoor heat exchanger(5), and to a branch pipe from among branch pipes(8) of a distributor(7). The distributor serves to distribute the refrigerant supplied from an expansion device(6) into the outdoor heat exchanger. A fixation pipe connected to the other end of the bypass pipe is installed in such a manner as to be perpendicular to the branch pipe. The fixation pipe has a penetrating hole communicated to the branch pipe, and a moving member for opening/shutting off the branch pipe in accordance with the pressure of the refrigerant passed through the pressure reduction device is installed to be movable.
