PURPOSE: A glass mold for producing plastic lens, coated with a releasing agent is provided, which strengthens the intensity of the glass mold by being coated with a hardening agent and releases the lens from the glass mold easily by being coated with the mold release agent on top of the hardening coat. CONSTITUTION: The glass mold for producing plastic lens is characterized by: forming a hardening coat layer(1', 2') with the ceramic-based hardening agent thereon; and forming a mold release coat layer(20, 20') with the mold release agent such as teflon or silicon onto the hardening coat layer(1', 2').
