FLAT BACKLIGHT LAMP FOR LCD

PURPOSE: The flat backlight lamp for LCD is provided to reduce the thickness of the backlight lamp so as to miniaturize the size of a system using the LCD by changing the structure of an exhaust tube. CONSTITUTION: The flat backlight lamp for LCD includes an upper plate(3c) of a given thickness. The upper plate(3c) has a cross section of a semicircle shape, a cylindrical shape or other shapes and a shape of at least one or more of 1 shape, L shape, U shape, W shape and a serpentine shape. A lower plate(3c') of a given thickness has a flat structure. The upper plate and the lower plate form a single channel. An exhaust tube(1) is formed at one portion of an illumination surface of cross sections(3d,3e) of a lamp. The exhaust tube(1) does not directly project from the surface of the cross sections(3d,3e) but projects from the surface(3c') on a lower side.
