SOLUTION: The device for detecting on abnormality in a pressure sensor (c) that detects the liquid pressure of a pressure circuit (b) in that liquid is discharged from a liquid pump (a) is provided with a reading means (d) for repeatedly reading an output value that is outputted from the pressure sensor (c), an amplitude calculation means (e) for calculating the amplitude of output based on the maximum and minimum values of the output value that has been read repeatedly, a time measurement means (f) for measuring the lapse time of a state where the amplitude obtained by the amplitude calculation means (e) does not satisfy a specific abnormality judgment reference value, and an abnormality judgment means (g) for judging it is abnormal when time being measured by the time measurement means (f) has reached specific abnormality judgment time, thus judging that the pressure sensor (c) has detected a pressure when specific judgment conditions are established for executing an abnormality detection processing.
