PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen-absorbing indirect heat exchanger capable of reducing a weight, while assuring the volume. SOLUTION: The weight of a case can be reduced, while assuring a volume of the case by forming a corner 11a and centers of respective sides 11b of a square cylindrical part 11 formed integrally with the sides by die casting, extrusion molding or the like thicker than another site. Hydrogen-absorbing indirect heat exchanger comprises an indirect heat exchanger 1, having a heat exchanging unit 1a, a sealed case 10, and a hydrogen absorbing alloy powder (solid and gas reaction powder), not shown, charged in the case 10. The exchanger 1 has a flat tube 2, corrugated fins 3, tubular header 4, upstream side heat exchanging set 5, downstream side heat exchanging set 6, common header 7, and gas transport tube 8. In this case, the sets 5 and 6 constitute the exchanging unit 1a.
