PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sequentially generate call tones for a plurality of speech units at a prescribed time interval according to their priority. SOLUTION: The title control system consists of a central processing controller A that receives a speech signal from an external telephone line or the like, and speech units B, C, D that are telephone transmission reception units connected to the central processing controller A and generate call tones. Since the priority of the call tones is set by the central processing controller A to the speech units B, C, D as a high rank, a medium rank and a low rank. When receiving an external phone call, the central processing controller A allows only the speech unit B with the highest priority where someone of a family may be resident with high possibility, for example, to generate the call tone. However, when nobody replies the call tone from the speech unit B, the central processing controller A allows the speech unit C with the medium priority to generate a call tone. When the speech unit C is not used within a prescribed time, the central processing controller A allows the speech unit D with the lowest priority to generate a call tone.
