PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily identify part of attached information in a printed-out image by a color printer with a facsimile function and to easily copy or fax-transfer only part of an original image resulting from data from a sender side in the case of copying a printout image or fax-transferring the image to other device. SOLUTION: The color printer is provided with a control section 19 that superimposes attached information to image data received by a facsimile signal transmission reception section 12, an entry section 15 and a color designation section 17 that designate a print color of the attached information to a color different from a print color of the received image data, and an attached information print control section 18 that controls the print color of the attached information into a designated color, and the entry section 15 can designate a print color that cannot be read by an original read section 11. Furthermore, the print color of the attached information can be revised depending on contents of the attached information. Moreover, the print color of the attached information can be changed in response to a paper feed tray.
