PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer received data in a confidential transmission way to even an output device that cannot produce an image by receiving printer codes. SOLUTION: Reception of an incoming call is started (S1), and when no SUB is in existence (NO in S2), its own machine provides an output (S3), and when the SUB is in existence (YES in S2), a confidential BOX management table is retrieved. When a confidential BOX coincident with the SUB is not available (NO of S4), the incoming call is rejected (S5), and when a confidential BOX coincident with the SUB is available (YES of S4), a received file with a BFT format is stored. After the end of reception, in the case that the confidential BOX with an F code coincident with the SUB registers no transfer destination (NO of S6), its own machine provides an output (S7). When the transfer destination is registered (YES of S6), a transfer type of the confidential BOX having the F code coincident with the SUB is checked (S8). In the case of transferring printer code, the printer code part is transferred (S9), the printer image is transferred. In the case of ail transfer, an image is generated from the printer code and transferred (S10, S11).
