PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shunt resistor which can prevent generation of cracks on the sidewall of the case, when a pair of metal terminals of a shunt resistor main body is bent. SOLUTION: A shunt resistor main body 1, having a pair of metal terminals 4, 4 at both ends of a resistor 3, is arranged in a case 2 formed of ceramics. A rib 6c for reinforcement is arranged on the inner wall surface of the other sidewall 6a of the case 2. A pair of the metal terminals 4, 4 are subjected to bending along an outer surface 6a3 of the sidewall 6a of the case 2.
