PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted pair cable superior in leakage, handling and terminal machinability and low in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Four twisted pair core wires 5 are prepared, each of which is formed by twisting two insulating core wires 4 each having a conductor 2 and an insulator layer 3 formed on the outer periphery thereof. The twisted pair core wires 5 are twisted two by two to form two unit aggregated core wires 6. These unit aggregated core wires 6 are further twisted to form a packaged core 7.
