PURPOSE: An electroluminescent display device and its driving method are provided to improve the structure to display the color under the applying of same data driving signal to a pair of R picture element, G picture element, and B picture element, to simplify a driving circuit, and to shorten the manufacture process. CONSTITUTION: The electroluminescent display device comprises a common electrode(40), a plurality of gate lines(G1,G2,..), the first and the second and the third data lines(D1,D2,D3), the first and the second and the third power supply lines(L1,L2,L3), a switching electrically connected to the gate line and to the data line, the first and the second and the third driving elements connected to the electrode of the switching element and to the source of the power lines, the first and the second and the third electroluminescent diodes corresponding to the first and the second and the third picture elements, and electroluminescent display devices. Each data line crosses the gate line and defines each picture element area. Each power line passes through the picture element area. The electroluminescent display devices have a common power source terminal. Each driving element is patterned by different ratio of channel width to channel length according to each picture element cell type. |
