PURPOSE: A cutting blade is provided to have the high buckling strength, to obtain a fine cutting tip and not to generate a laying or a dispersion of the tip. CONSTITUTION: A cutting edge portion(11a) having a wanted cutting edge angle is formed by a concave curvature face(11a') for the center with a certain length. The cutting edge portion(11a) cuts a work piece. A connecting portion(11b) is formed by concave curvature faces(11b') to be thicker and thicker toward a shank portion(21). The connecting portion(11b) communicates the cutting edge portion(11a) with the shank portion(21). Thereby, a contact resistance to be given to the work piece by the connecting portion(11b) is minimized.
