MICROSTRIP ANTENNA AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MICROSTRIP ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A microstrip antenna and method for manufacturing microstrip antenna is provided to reduce the size of antenna while minimizing gain losses. CONSTITUTION: A microstrip antenna comprises a ground plane(33); a radiation patch(31) arranged with a predetermined spacing from the ground plane and which receives/transmits radio wave; and a dielectric member(32) shaped as a straight line and which is interposed between the ground plane and the radiation patch, beneath the fringe of the radiation patch. The resonance frequency of the microstrip antenna is in inverse proportion to the length of the radiation patch, and to the square root of the dielectric constant of the dielectric member.
