PURPOSE: A circuit for preventing static electricity from a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent production of inferior quality of liquid crystal displays in manufacture for the static electricity by adding a high voltage device to a static electricity preventing circuit. CONSTITUTION: The circuit includes at least two transistors(T1, T2) and a capacitor(C1). The at least two transistors(T1, T2) are electrically connected in parallel with each other between the common electrode line(C) and the gate line(G) and/or the data line. The capacitor(C1) is electrically connected between the common electrode line(C) and the gate line(G) and/or the data line. Static electricity generated from either the common electrode line(C) or the gate line(G) and/or the data line is charged to the capacitor(C1). An over-current charged to the capacitor(C1) is discharged to the other line.
