PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device preventing the back staining of transfer material by preventing a transfer means from being stained, when abnormality occurs in the midst of operation and when the abnormality is eliminated. SOLUTION: This image-forming device is equipped with a photoreceptor drum 2 on which an image is carried, a primary transfer roller 13 primarily transferring a toner image on the drum 2 to an intermediate transfer belt 10, and a secondary transfer roller 7 secondarily transferring the toner image transferred to the belt 10 to a transfer material P. The roller 7 is supported rotatably in a frame F1, capable of rocking centering a shaft P1 and is made to press- contact with or separate from the belt 10 by a cam C1 acting on the frame F1. When trouble occurs and when the abnormality is eliminated, the cam C1 is driven and the roller 7 is made to separate from and press-contact with the belt 10 again. Thus, the irregular toner image remaining on the belt 10 is prevented from coming in contact with the roller 7. |
