PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital matched filter whose power consumption can be reduced while maintaining the accuracy of synchronization acquisition in a reception station of a mobile communication system based on the direct spread spectrum system. SOLUTION: A processing bit number controlling sub matched filter 21 calculates a correlation value between an n-bit received signal (n>1) whose number of valid bits is changed from 1-bit to m-bits (m<=n) and a spread code and outputs the correlation value to a threshold comparator section 33. The threshold comparator section 33 compares a correlation peak threshold set in advance in response to the number of the processing bits of the processing bit number controlling sub matched filter 21 with a correlation value output, and a sub matched filter control section 22 selects the number of processing bits that is a minimum among the number of processing bits where the correlation output exceeds the threshold as the number of the processing bits in a main matched filter 20. |
