PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for a radioactive element stably fixing the radioactive element such as radioiodine. SOLUTION: In this fixing method, a radioactive element (e.g. iodine) is adsorbed inside a window part of zeolite [WmZnO2n: W=Na, Ca, K, Ba or Sr; Z=Si+Al (Si:Al; >1)], and the zeolite window part is blocked up by silica- coating the window part with a silicon alkoxide or the like to form a network of silica and reducing a window diameter. Thus, outward elution of the enclosed iodine is suppressed.
