PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic sample forming device uniformly applying blood by a constant thickness. SOLUTION: A sample developing means 4 constituting an automatic sample forming device is provided with a charging/discharging means 7, an extending means 8, and a cleaning and drying means 9. The charging/discharging means 7 charges/discharges fluid into/from a piston device so as to freely drop blood onto a slide glass surface or so as to sample a fixed amount blood. The extending means 8 is provided with a transfer body, a cam part arranged in the middle of a transfer passage for the transfer body, and an elevating engagement part. When the transfer body climbs up on the cam part, the elevating engagement part is protruded and brought into contact with one side of the slide glass so as to transfer the slide glass in the opposite direction according to the reverse directional shift of the transfer body. The cleaning and drying means 9 is provided with a moving means moving an extension plate above a cleaning tank and dipping it inside and a wind feeding means blowing wind to the both sides and to the loser side of the extension plate.
