PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectral image apparatus which can quickly measure an image wherein only an arbitray wavelength region is extracted from a image of biology or the like. SOLUTION: In the spectral image apparatus measuring an image wherein only a specified wavelength region is extracted from an incident image, a first diffraction grating for analyzing the incident image into spectrum, a second diffraction grating for recombining the analyzed images, and a means which is arranged between the first and the second diffraction gratings and limits a wavelength band, are installed.
