PURPOSE: An animal feed additive having excellent flowability is provided profitably and efficiently by adding an alkali(alkaline earth) metal hydroxide, or the like, to a fermentation broth containing D-pantothenic acid(salt) and then subjecting the mixture to a spray-drying treatment, or the like. CONSTITUTION: Animal feed additive based on fermentation liquor having D-pantothenic acid and/or its salts contains (a) D-pantothenic acid and/o its salts, (b) 0-100% biomass from microorganisms producing D-pantothenic acid during fermentation, and (c) mainly other contents of the fermentation liquor. The animal feed additive based on fermentation liquor containing D-pantothenic acid and/or its salts is in solid, finely-divided or granulated, free-running form. |
