THERMOPLASTIC FOAMED RESIN SHEET THERMOFORMED MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To manufacture a thermoplastic foamed resin sheet thermoformed molded material of good surface state of corner sections and arris sections by specifying the average roughness of the center lines on the outer surfaces of corner sections and arris sections. CONSTITUTION:The average roughness (HCLA) of the center lines of outer surfaces of corner sections 35 and arris sections 33 of subject thermoformed material 30 is 5-16mum. A matched mold type mold forming corner sections and arris sections narrower than a space between a male mold and a female mold forming the bottom face section of the thermoformed material at the time of mold closing is used for subject thermoformed material, and a thermoplastic foamed sheet is compression air vacuumized and thermoformed in a manner of not storing the air between the mold forming the corner sections and arris sections of thermoformed material and the thermoplastic foamed resin sheet at the time of mold closing. Uniform thermoforming can be carried out all over the surface of the sheet, and the thermoformed material of good surface state of corner sections and arris sections of sufficient hardness can be manufactured.
