PURPOSE: An exhaust brake device of a vehicle is provided to lengthen the life span thereof and to reduce the noise and vibration by allowing exhaust gas to easily flow when the exhaust brake device is opened and applying a resistance to exhaust gas when the exhaust brake device is closed. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust brake device comprises an exhaust pipe for allowing exhaust gas discharged from an engine to flow therein, a housing(2) formed at a middle portion of the exhaust pipe and a handling lever(3) which is operated by receiving an external force. The handling lever(3) is inserted into the exhaust pipe and has an annular loop(3a) at a front end thereof. The annular loop(3a) is provided with a plurality of flanges. The flange(4) is coupled to a moving plate(5) through a hinge section(5a). The moving plate(5) is rotatably installed by means of a hinge bolt(6) which is coupled to a predetermined portion of the exhaust pipe.
