PURPOSE: An assistant equipment for listening to foreign language is provided to select reproduction circumstance for single text recorded depending on taste and learning degree of listener to reproduce it. CONSTITUTION: An assistant equipment for listening to foreign language has a stress enhancing function part(11). The stress enhancing function part(11) increases signal-to-noise ratio and amplifies consonant part of recorded text selectively using differential amplifier to make foreign pronunciation more clear than voice signal of the text inputted in real time or pre-recorded. The assistant equipment also has a reproducing speed control part(12). The reproducing speed control part(12) stores the voice signal of the text in form of file and inserts regular vowel signal to the vowel part of the text.
