PURPOSE: A device for preventing a separation of a pick-up guide axis in a disk driver is provided to fix the pick-up guide axis by an elasticity of an elastic member, and to make the elastic member press the pick-up guide axis by using a specific member, thereby firmly fixing the pick-up guide axis, and performing easy assembly/disassembly operations. CONSTITUTION: Pick-up guide axis(6,6') installed to a pick-up base(1) guide a moving of an optical pick-up. Control spheres(13) are installed to ends of the pick-up guide axis(6,6') to control heights of the pick-up guide axis(6,6'). Guiding units(20,20') installed to the pick-up base(1) guide install locations of the pick-up guide axis(6,6'), and regulate rising operations to upper parts. The guiding units(20,20') equip tub grooves(21) past the pick-up guide axis(6,6'). Stoppers(23) regulate rising operations to the upper parts of the pick-up guide axis(6,6'). Springs(30) are installed to a fixing bent-up unit(1') for maintaining the setup heights of the pick-up guide axis(6,6'). A fixing unit(31) of the springs(30) is inserted in the fixing bent-up unit(1'). The springs(30) press the pick-up guide axis(6,6'), and fix the pick-up guide axis(6,6') to support surfaces(14) of the control spheres(13) for preventing movements of the pick-up guide axis(6,6'). The first and the second end unit(33,33') maintain an elasticity in a direction that the pick-up guide axis(6,6') are pressed down.
