APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING METAL CATHODE/CAP OF ELECTRON GUN

PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting a metal cathode/cap of an electron gun is provided to weld correctly a metal cathode and a cap by maintaining constantly a welding location of the metal cathode for the cap. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for supporting a metal cathode/cap of an electron gun comprises a cathode supporter(10), a cap supporter(20), and a location decision portion(12,22). The cathode supporter(10) has a groove portion(11) for receiving a metal cathode(4) on its upper portion. The cap supporter(20) is loaded on an upper side of the cathode supporter(10). The cap supporter(20) has a penetrating hole(21) to be contacted with an upper face of the metal cathode(4). The location decision portion(12,22) decides a loading location of the cap supporter(20) for the cathode supporter(10).
