PURPOSE: A sunlight regulator is provided to regulate the quantity of sunlight for visual comfort and elegance, to create an atmosphere by altering light to wanted colors, and to promote air-conditioning efficiency by sun-shading in summer. CONSTITUTION: A sunlight regulator comprises a cylinder for rolling colored film, colored film, a string for unrolling the colored film, a cylindrical automatic rolling device for rolling the unrolled colored film, and a string fastening device for fastening the unrolled colored film, and unrolls/rolls the colored film backward by rolling the colored film round the cylinder, then installing to one side of a window. This sunlight regulator is installed to a domestic veranda window, wall glass of an office, wall glass of a coffee shop etc, for regulating, altering the quantity of light and colors and used as substitute for a blind or a vertical.
