PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of exactly and speedily recognizing an object article at a wide place in a physical distribution system using a bar code reader. SOLUTION: Concerning a laser scanning type portable terminal for reading the information of a bar code by receiving reflected light with a bar code sensor by performing horizontal scanning by reflecting laser beams emited from a light source on a vibrating scanning reflector and performing horizontal scanning on the bar code with the said laser beams, the portable terminal with laser pointer function to be used as a laser pointer is provided by performing horizontal scanning with the laser beams radiated from a light source part by reflecting the laser beams on the vibrating scanning reflector and performing the centralized irradiation of a certain point with the laser beams by reflecting the laser beams on the scanning reflector, which stops vibrating, while providing a scanning reflector control part for vibrating the scanning reflector and controlling the stop of vibrations. |
