PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductor which can prevent problems such as generation of the fuel crossover, when used as an electrolyte of electrochemical devices. SOLUTION: An electrolyte plate 4 is used, in which a inorganic proton conductive material containing an OH group by 1 wt.% or more with low absorption rate and porosity, is compounded with a flexible organic proton conductive material or a methanol-impermiable material. Use of such a plate 4 makes easy a treatment process for the integration of an electrode with the electrolyte plate. Further, generation of the fuel crossover can be prevented. |
