PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire related to a watertight insulating wire filled with watertight material, improving in, particularly, water tightness and peelability. SOLUTION: A watertight insulating wire is obtained by using watertight material which exhibits a water swollen amount of 3% or more by adding hydrophilic polymer to base resin. When water enters from the outside into the wire, the hydrophilic polymer contacting the water is swollen, thereby preventing the entry of the water therein. The addition of the hydrophilic polymer maintains good peelability. |
