PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a patent map having a necessary form, various total graphs, etc., can be outputted after the data of a retrieved file acquired from a patent/technical data retrieval system are automatically converted into a master table for patent information analysis or technical information analysis by utilizing a computer. SOLUTION: A conversion program generates a database-type master table by every technical subject and automatically converts a retrieved filed retrieved by every technical subject into the data of the master table. The data of the master table can be updated whenever required. Then the conversion program automatically generates various kinds of patent maps including a matrix map, road map, etc., by activating the generated master table. In addition, the program generates various total data and graphically shows the generated total data in various forms.
