<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the use efficiency of a network band by reusing, for other channels, a band to which an isochronous band of a peak rate is assigned and not actually used. SOLUTION: A communication device 401 which manages the leased state of a band by using a register 402, a communication device 411 which leases a band, and a communication device 421 which rents a band are connected to a network 101. The communication device 401 operates as a manager which manages the leasing of a band with the register 402, the communication device 411 leases the band through the communication device 401, and the communication device 421 rents the band through the communication device 401. Thus, an unused band generated when variable-rate data are handled is leased to other channels to improve the efficiency of the band.</p> |
