PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an internal thread to be formed easily by dividing an insulation body into two parts, eliminate deformation of a partial carrier caused by high temperature creep, and prevent an insulation body divided into two parts from splitting. SOLUTION: A lamp fitting thread section 3 is provided inside the nearly pipe-shaped insulation body 1 divided into two parts parallel to the lamp inserting direction, and it has a partial metal carrier to make contact with the lamp base. The outer side of the insulation body 1 is sloped, so that the lamp fitting side becomes smaller and a pipe body 2 is provided to be in contact with or in close proximity to this outer side. Consequently, when a lamp is screwed in, the pipe body 2 restrains the insulation body 1 divided into two parts from opening and can prevent the insulation body 1 from splitting. In addition, since the insulation body 1 can be divided into two parts, the lamp- fitting thread section 3 can be formed easily. Furthermore, even if the temperature inside the socket becomes high, the heat can be absorbed in the pipe body 2 and dissipated, so that deformation of the partial carrier by creep is small and contact pressure with the lamp base is secured.
