PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch and a switching device, allowing easy continuity test of the switch and easy design of the switch. SOLUTION: A switching device 10 having a plurality of switches 16 each of which consists of a fixed portion 20 having a fixed contact 22 on a substrate and a movable portion 40 having a movable contact 42 opposed to the fixed contact 22 for contacting the fixed contact in response to external thrust, the fixed contacts 22 being of two or more types different in size. The fixed contacts 22 are extended near the peripheral edges R1 of the respective switches 16. The movable contacts 42 are arranged with their conductive planes 420, the number of which is depending on the extension length L of the fixed contacts 22, opposed to the fixed contacts 22, the conduct planes 420 being in the same shape for contacting all fixed contacts 22 during contacting the fixed contacts 22. Further, at least one switch 16 has an emitter 24 fixed to a switch central area R2 for emitting light from the upper face 49 of the movable portion 40.
