PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily peel a label from an article surface when subjecting the article with the label to a recycling treatment. SOLUTION: Recessed grooves 4 are formed on the surface of the article 1 and the label 3 is affixed to the article surface in the state of covering the recessed grooves 4. When peeling the label 3, the user cuts the label 3 along the recessed grooves 4 by means of a cutter and peels the label 3 from the article surface by picking up the cut label portion with the fingertips.
