PURPOSE: A call processing apparatus and method in a remote subscriber module of a full electronic exchange are provided to maximize a use efficiency of a full electronic exchange by enabling subscribers in a remote subscriber module(RSM) to make a phone call by a switching circuit of a matching link unit in the RSM even though disturbance occurs on the matching line of a host and the RSM. CONSTITUTION: Subscriber line interfaces(SLI)(10,11) match signals received from subscribers. A plurality of data link channels(DLC)(12,13) assemble signals received from the SLIs(10,11), outputs them to a highway, and provides signals of the highway to the subscribers, in response to a predetermined controlling. A ring generator(RG)(19) is connected to the SLIs(10,11) and provides a ring signal to the subscribers in response to a predetermined controlling. A digital link interface(DLI)(14) has a digit receiving and tone generator, is connected between a transmission channel and a reception channel of the plurality of DLCs(12,13), decodes a digit signal transmitted from the transmission channels of the DLCs(12,13) and outputs it, and switches the signal of the transmission channels of the DLCs(12,13) to the reception channels of the DLCs(12,13) in respnse to a predetermined controlling. A remote subscriber module processor(RSMP)(20) is connected to the plurality of SLIs(10,11), the DLCs(12,13), the DLI(14) and the RG(19), detects a state of a subscriber through the SLIs(10,11), accordingly controls the DLI(14), supplies a tone to the subscriber, and at the same time, controls the DLCs(12,13) and the DLI(14) according to the inputted DTMF tone to control formation of a speech path between subscribers of the RSM. |
