PURPOSE: A process for preparing an elastic connecting member comprising a decorative body and an elastic member connecting to both ends of a necklace respectively is provided which produces the title member improved in elasticity in a simple manner. CONSTITUTION: This elastic connecting member is manufactured by a process consisting of: a preparing process (210) of a plate having a specified thickness and size; a forming process (220) of a body (222) of an elastic connecting member by forming a handle part (36) at its one side end, a ring part (34) at its another side end, a first protruding part (224) at a specified angle on one inside end of the ring part and a second protruding part (226) at a specified angle on another side end of the ring part and pressing; a bending process of the protruding part (230); a body bending process and a binding process of the connecting ring (250).
