PURPOSE: A plastic bag opening device of a fruit packing machine is provided to pack fruit into tube type plastic bags having stuck both insides continuously. CONSTITUTION: A tube type plastic bag(2) is unwound from a bobbin(21). Then, a front end portion of the plastic bag is opened. A wedge-shaped opening tool(60) is inserted into the opened plastic bag. The plastic bag of the inserted portion and the opening tool are lifted up together with a starting hopper(42) mounted on a rotary table(40). The front end portion of the plastic bag is fixed, and the opening tool is dropped from the plastic bag. Thereby, the plastic bag having both stuck insides is opened. Finally, fruit is put into the tube type plastic bag and packed by a full automatic method.
