PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a job with an input picture by easily grasping the progress condition of the job and making preparation limit condition easy to watch as well. SOLUTION: Concerning the job managing method for managing a job by displaying retrieved data on pictures 101, 103, 107 and 110 while using document data bases 104, 105 and 108, in the case of registering a document, a job flow chart, which is prepared by a job flow processing part 102, showing the flow of the job is displayed on the job flow display picture 103, a job corresponding data storage table 107 is retrieved by a job corresponding input processing part 106 by selecting a specified area in the flow chart of this job flow display picture 103, and a corresponding input picture is displayed on the job corresponding input picture 107. An urgent job display part 109 retrieves a job after the preparation limit conditions from a job progress table 104 and the job is displayed on the urgent job display part 109.
