SOCKET TYPE LED LIGHT BULB

PURPOSE: A socket type LED(light emitting diode) light bulb is to disposed several LEDs to be opposite to a reflecting member which is mounted in a body portion, thereby improving power saving efficiency and durability of the bulb. CONSTITUTION: A body portion(1) has a socket coupling portion(11) at an outer upper portion thereof and a cap latching groove(12) at an outer circumferential portion, and is removably mounted to a bulb socket. Several LEDs are disposed in the body portion to be opposite to a reflecting member(4), and generates desired color light when power is supplied. The reflecting member is disposed in the body portion to reflect the light irradiated from the LEDs to a front portion thereof. A cap(3) has a latching portion(3) which is latched to the cap latching groove, and is removably disposed at an opening portion of the body portion to prevent contaminant from being introduced into the body portion. The cap is formed to be served as a convex lens or a concave lens.
