PURPOSE: A device of portably charging a secondary battery is provided to charge a secondary battery by self-generation through mechanical operation without assistance of power supply. CONSTITUTION: In a device of portably charging a secondary battery, a manual driver(10) converts kinetic energy produced by straight line motion into rotational motion energy. An AC generator(30) converts the rotational motion energy into electrical energy and provides an AC power supply. A rectifier(40) rectifies the ac power supply and provides a DC power supply. A constant-voltage controller(50) keeps constant the level of the DC power supply. A charger(60) gets charged by the constant-voltage controller(50) and charges a secondary battery(70) by discharging the saved energy.
