PURPOSE: A heat pump system for electric motor is provided to reduce parts count and achieve an improved cooling/heating performance by allowing heat exchange operation to be performed between the cooling medium employed in a driving motor cooling device and the heat exchanger medium employed in an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump system comprises a compressor(2); a three-way valve(3) connected to an outlet port of the compressor and which selectively switches flow channel; an outdoor side condenser(4) connected to the three-way valve; a receiver dryer(5) connected to the outdoor side condenser and which performs gas-liquid separation operation to the heat exchanger medium; a first expansion valve(61) connected to the receiver dryer; an evaporator(6) connected to the first expansion valve; a chiller(7) connected between the evaporator and the compressor; an indoor side condenser(8) connected to the three-way valve; and a second expansion valve(71) connected to the chiller. The chiller is connected to the cooling line for a driving motor(1), allowing the cooling medium and the heat exchanger medium to be heat-exchanged. A first check valve(63) is arranged between the evaporator and the chiller, and a second check valve(73) is arranged between the second expansion valve and the chiller.
