PURPOSE: A cold accumulation apparatus for vehicle air conditioner is provided to achieve a superior effectiveness of heat exchange by improving the structure of a cold accumulation material container. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle air conditioner includes a refrigerant compressor, a condenser for condensing by a condenser fan the compressed refrigerant from the compressor, a dryer for removing moisture from the condensed refrigerant, an expansion valve for expansion of the refrigerant, and an evaporator(5) installed within an air duct so as to take ambient heat by using the expanded refrigerant. The evaporator has an inlet pipe mounted with a first solenoid valve(5a), and a cold accumulator(60 has an inlet pipe(60) mounted with a second solenoid valve(6a). The cold accumulator includes a temperature sensor(62) attached to the front portion of the cold accumulator, a pair of fan assemblies(63) installed at upper both sides of the cold accumulator, an ECU(64), a control assembly(66) operated by the ECU and which has a bed switch(65), and a cold accumulator operating switch(67).
