PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing addition of slag during tapping of hot metal is provided to improve productivity and manufacture high quality of molten steel by adding a compressed gas or a coagulant in the process of tapping hot metal from a TLC (Torpedo Ladle Car) to a charging ladle so that tapping of a large amount of slag existing in the TLC into the charging ladle is minimized. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for preventing addition of slag during tapping of hot metal for preventing slag in the TLC (Torpedo Ladle Car) from being added to the charging ladle through a T stopper (61) mounted in the TLC comprises a compressed gas supply part installed one end part of the T stopper (61), a coagulant powder supply part installed other end part of the T stopper (61), and a control part controlling operation of the compressed gas supply part and the coagulant powder supply part .
