PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing noise is provided to design an EMI(electro-magnetic interference) filter optimized by analyzing a frequency band and a feature of noise. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing noise has a first switch(SW1) having a contact point(e) connected to a power input terminal(+), and a second switch(SW2) having a contact point(f) connected to the other power input terminal(-). A contact point(a) of the first switch is connected to a primary side of a common mode inductor(40) for restricting a common mode noise of low frequency band, and a contact point(b) of the second switch is connected to a secondary side of the common mode inductor. A line bypass capacitor(74,76) is connected between the primary side and the secondary side of the common mode inductor in series. A contact point(c) of the first switch is connected to a differential mode inductor(50) for restricting a differential mode noise of high frequency band, and is connected to a line cross capacitor(70) for restricting a differential mode noise of low frequency band. A contact point(d) of the second switch is connected to a differential mode inductor(60) for restricting the differential mode noise of high frequency band, and is connected to the line cross capacitor(70). An EMI receiver(10) is connected to the power input terminal via an electric current probe(30).
