PURPOSE: An MP3 player for an automobile audio is provided to connect an external MP3 system to a car audio with a jack and to perform an MP3 player function through the car audio and a speaker. CONSTITUTION: A key matrix(2) selects one of radio, cassette tape, CD, and MP3 modes. A microprocessor(3) senses an operation signal of the key matrix(2), and to controls an audio function. A selecting circuit(4) receives a control signal output from the microprocessor(3) to select a corresponding mode. A switching IC(Integrated Circuit)(5) selects a corresponding mode among the radio, the cassette tape, the CD, and the MP3 according to the selected mode of the selecting circuit(4). An electronic volume IC(6) controls a fine signal output from an operation mode of the switching IC(5) as an output level of a car audio. A power IC(7) amplifies the signal output from the electronic volume IC(6). A speaker(8) converts an electrical signal of the amplified signal into an audible signal, and outputs the audible signal.
