PURPOSE: A casement window induces a natural ventilation without outer air flowing in against passengers and prevents vibration and noise coming with a sliding window. CONSTITUTION: The lower part of a bus window is installed tightly to a car body panel(30). A packing member(32) is attached to the upper end of the sealed window. A casement window(10) has a lower end inserted to an inserting groove formed on the upper surface of the packing member(32) and the lower ends of the both sides thereof fixed to a side panel(30) by a hinge shaft(22). A return spring(18) supporting the opening and closing of the casement window(10) with its elasticity is fixed inside of the inserting groove of the packing member(32).
