CATHODE FOR ELECTRONIC TUBE

PURPOSE: A cathode for electronic tube is provided to improve a life time and an electron emission characteristic of a cathode oxide by utilizing an existing cathode manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A cathode for electronic tube comprises a base metal, an electron emission material layer, and a heating portion. The metal mechanism is formed with a nickel used as a main component. The electron emission material layer is formed on an upper portion of the metal mechanism. The electron emission material layer contains a metal oxide using a barium oxide as a main component and an indium-tin oxide. The heating portion heats the electron emission material layer.
